Programs for Children

 Kidbury UMC and Children’s Church

SUMC’s children’s program includes educational games, crafts, books, and puzzles for all ages. Kidbury UMC is in Hawes Hall and is open from 9:15-9:45am as well as after worship each Sunday.

  • Each week, Kidbury UMC offers activities, music, and crafts/puzzles for children age 4 through 5th grade.

  • Kidbury pauses each week at 9:45 a.m. so that kids, parents, and leaders have time to get to worship* and re-opens during Coffee Hour after worship, so children can leave their projects in Kidbury while they go to church.

*During worship, we offer Children’s Church for kids age 4 through 2nd grade beginning right after the children’s moment in worship. There are also activity bags available for older children who stay in the main worship service.

Kidbury UMC is every Sunday morning in Hawes Hall from 9:15-9:45 a.m. There are different activities for children ages 4 through fifth grade each week.

This season’s theme is “Enjoying God, my Shepherd.” Shepherds and sheep are important roles and images throughout the Bible, and we will explore what this means in scripture and for us.
